Rosebud
It's not uncommon for a dining experience to be less than satisfactory, and unfortunately, our visit to Rosebud was no exception. From the moment we were greeted by our friendly, yet unprofessional waitress who used colloquial language, it was clear that the establishment was lacking in sophistication. The lobster cot was a disappointment, as it was nothing more than a glob of over-cheesed and salty seafood. The meatballs were equally underwhelming, offering no flavor or substance. The bread provided was a meager offering, with a mere dusting of garlic powder as its only distinguishing feature. The Caesar salad was passable, but the 8oz filet was a disaster - undercooked and lacking in taste. The tater tots and sprouts were equally unappealing, with the former being frozen and bland and the latter swimming in bacon grease and cheese. The corn tasted as if it had been plucked from a can of Del Monte and haphazardly thrown onto a plate, and the carrot cake was dry and flavorless, with the cream cheese frosting being the only saving grace. The only redeeming factor of the meal was a well-crafted dirty martini. It's clear that Rosebud caters to a certain type of diner, but true foodies will want to steer clear.
